InventoryDoku privacy policy
InventoryDoku is a puzzle game made by Fantasy Jam ("we"). This page explains what the game collects, why, who handles it for us, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to support@fantasyjam.io.
In short: you can play without an account, and your progress stays on your phone. If you sign in to use the online leaderboard, we keep your account and your leaderboard results. The game shows ads through Google AdMob, and purchases go through Google Play. We don't sell your personal information.
On your phone only
Your progress, records, achievements, settings, hint stock and the list of what you've bought are saved on your phone. They aren't sent to us, and uninstalling the game deletes them.
If you turn on the Daily reminder in Settings, the game asks for permission to show notifications and your phone schedules them itself. Nothing is sent to us or to a push service, and you can turn it off in Settings or in your phone's notification settings.
Feedback you send
If you use Feedback in the game, we receive your message, the kind you picked (bug, idea or other), your email address if you give one, and details that help us reproduce a problem: the game's version, your phone's make and model, its Android version and screen, and the last level you played. Our server also counts messages per IP address for an hour, to stop spam. We use it only to fix and improve the game and, if you left an email, to reply. Feedback is kept until we've dealt with it, or until you ask us to delete it.
If you sign in (optional)
Signing in is only needed for the online leaderboard and Employee of the Year rankings.
- Your account. Sign-in is handled by Clerk. It keeps your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares (your name and profile picture). The game doesn't show your email, name or picture to anyone.
- Your leaderboard entries. Our server keeps your account ID, the leaderboard name you choose, your best times and points for each ranked board, your Employee of the Year shifts, and how many runs you've posted. Other players can see your leaderboard name, times and points.
You can change your leaderboard name at any time on the game's Account screen.
Ads
The game shows ads from Google AdMob: an optional video you can watch for a heart refill or a hint, and a short ad between racks. To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, information about your device and the app, your IP address (which gives an approximate location) and how you interact with ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- Where the law requires consent (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the game asks you first. If the Settings screen shows Privacy choices, you can change your answer there at any time.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings, Google, Ads on most Android phones).
- If you buy No ads, the game stops showing ads between racks and refills and hints no longer need an ad. The ads SDK remains part of the app.
Purchases
Purchases are made through Google Play, which handles payment. We never see your card or payment details. To confirm what you own and bring your purchases to a new phone, RevenueCat receives a record of each purchase: the product, the time and the store's purchase token. If you're signed in, the record is linked to your account ID, so your purchases follow your account to any phone where you sign in. If you're not, it's linked to a random ID for your copy of the app. You don't need an account to buy or restore.
Closed beta sign-up
If you sign up for the closed beta on fantasyjam.io/test, we keep what you enter: your name, email address, country, and (if you give them) your phone model and a note. We use them only to email you a Google Play access code and occasional beta updates, and to keep track of which code went to whom. Our server also counts signups per IP address for an hour, to stop spam. We email you from support@fantasyjam.io; reply to any of our emails, or write to that address, to have your signup deleted.
Who handles data for us
- Clerk: sign-in and accounts.
- Vercel: runs the leaderboard, beta sign-up and feedback server. Like any web server, it processes IP addresses in its request logs.
- Upstash: the database behind the leaderboard, the beta waiting list and feedback.
- Hostinger: our email, including beta sign-up messages, access codes and feedback.
- Google AdMob: ads.
- Google Play: downloads and payments.
- RevenueCat: purchase records.
These companies may process data in the United States and other countries outside your own.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
- The game doesn't access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.
- The game contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools.
Children
InventoryDoku isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has signed in, email us and we'll delete the account.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and leaderboard entries until you delete your account. Beta signups are kept until the closed beta ends, or until you ask us to delete yours. Server request logs are kept by Vercel for a limited period.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have further rights, including objecting to some processing or complaining to your data protection authority.
- Delete your account: see how to delete your InventoryDoku account.
- Anything else: email support@fantasyjam.io from the address you sign in with, so we can confirm it's you.
Security
Everything the game sends to the leaderboard server, Clerk, Google and RevenueCat is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Leaderboard results are accepted only with a signed, single-use token from our server.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect, we'll say so in the game.
